GMUW Executive Director
Green Mountain United Way seeks an engaging and results-oriented Executive Director to lead the organization in conjunction with a volunteer Board of Directors. The successful candidate will have the ability to help identify community challenges and establish solutions with measurable results to affect positive change in Washington, Orange, Caledonia, Essex and Orleans counties.
Excellent organizational management and interpersonal and excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as well as a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated fund-raising ability, volunteer management, public relations skills, ability to lead group presentations and public speaking skills are a must. The incumbent will lead and direct policy development, media and marketing materials, grant development, service organization and corporate relationships.
Prior experience in the areas of business and grant development and review, fiscal management and marketing desired. Leadership experience with a philanthropic non-profit organization preferred.
