News from the Flex Fund

The Flex Fund has invested $285,000 in new and existing portfolio companies between 2013 through 1st quarter 2015. The VSJF Flexible Capital Fund (the “Flex Fund”) recognizes that companies in rural areas like Vermont tend to be smaller and work on a less-than global scale, offering a return on investment that does not always meet venture capital levels.

Janice St. Onge, President of the Flex Fund, writes an open letter on what they have been able to accomplish toward making Vermont a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
