Dear Task Force Members and Friends,
I am very glad to send you this announcement about our Fall Agricultural Medicine and Occupational Safety Training. This is a 48-hour, interdisciplinary training which includes both on-site work at the Middlebury Inn, in Middlebury, as well as a 6-week webinar series.
Please consider attending yourself or sending one or more staff to participate in this excellent, comprehensive 48-hour training course. It is designed for medical practitioners, EMTs, allied health providers, Agricultural Professionals, State Public Health, Department of Labor and Agency of Agriculture staff, and general Risk Management staff. Thirty eight faculty from Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and North Carolina include national and regional experts – all of whom are committed to improving the health and safety of our agricultural communities.
Please note that our formal CME application has been submitted and we expect to once again receive permission to award them to participants and faculty.
The attached training announcement will give you preliminary information, including a link to the Registration Page at the Champlain Valley Area Health Education Center’s website. Please let us know if you have any questions.
