Help us spread the word about new “crowdsource” funding page.

Now all the stops are well and truly pulled. We’ve launched a “crowd source” fundraiser page. (At Indiegogo – you can link to it from

Tell your crowd – maybe they’d be interested! Passing the word through your online communities, maybe helping us connect our story with some new people  – hey it’s worth a shot. Plus, there’s lots of premiums – like technical t-shirts and an original painting by Vermont “magical realism” artist Cindy Griffith.

This is all very 21st century, but worth it to help take us the last lap and raise the local matching funds needed to “Build the Bridge!” and get the Cross Vermont Trail off of Rte 2 in East Montpelier.

Central Vt Cycling Tour Registration is OPEN.

Register early to guarantee the possibility of great weather for your ride. (Hey, that’s worth a shot, too.)

National Trails Day JUNE 6

Last and most important, the official start of the volunteer trail work party season is coming up on National Trails Day, Saturday June 6. There are events running statewide, and of course we’re leading some too.

Come on out to clean up the rail trail for summer – in Newbury/Wells River (meeting at BMU 9 AM) or in Plainfield (meeting at the Park and Ride; also 9 AM).
