Exercise for MS: How to Get Started
Free Teleconference Tuesday Night
On Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. EST, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation will present a free teleconference “Exercise for MS: The best way to get started” presented by Jeffrey A. Segal, CSCS*D, NSCA-CPT*D, CPTS.
At the age of 25, Jeff was diagnosed with MS. Within two years, he was spending the better part of his days in a wheelchair due to balance difficulties, partial paralysis, visual impairment, chronic fatigue, and a host of other symptoms common to those with MS. Jeff was unwilling to yield to the disease, and instead, launched his own wellness and rehabilitation program.
Today, Jeff is in top physical condition and has reclaimed his life through exercise, nutrition, and other wellness strategies. His outlook on life has also significantly improved. As a motivational speaker, Jeff’s earnestness, integrity, and candor reawaken hope and empower others. A 1998 graduate of Florida State University, Jeff became a Certified Personal Training Specialist. In 2004, Jeff founded Balanced Personal Training Inc., based in Boca Raton, to pursue his dream of empowering others in all stages of MS, as well as pre/post-rehabilitation, and helping physical needs of all people. His unique approach to training is geared toward improving function, range of motion, self-esteem, emotional wellness, and quality of life.
