Effective April 3, 2015, Nancy Zorn, Executive Director of Green Mountain United Way since the year 2000, has retired. She will be missed by many in the nonprofit community in northeastern Vermont.

On March 16th, the GMUW Board of Directors hosted an open house for all wanting to wish Nancy the best in her retirement. Dozens of people came and heard accolades being showered upon her by several, such present Board President, Catherine Hamilton, Board Vice President, Susan Kruthers, and former Board President, Dr. Stuart Williams. A State of Vermont Resolution was read and presented to Nancy.

Nancy led GMUW through a time of change for the United Way when it moved to a Community Impact model focusing more on prevention in the areas of Education, Income and Health. The Board of Directors and staff thank her for her many years of faithful service.
